Calm (after) the storm

The Paris Olympic Games are returning to the City of Light for the first time since 1924, and we’re excited to cheer for team Hong Kong. This edition will be a special one, with new sports and initiatives bringing a modern flair to the event—and we can’t help but think that it’s going to be busy. Very busy.

Busy travel post-Covid is leading to overtourism in some places, which can be stressful and impact one’s mental health, as denounced by Kyoto’s geisha community. If this resonates, it might be time to take inspiration from stars like Kylie Jenner, who stayed at one of Venice’s most discreet hotels; charter a luxury yacht to travel to lesser-known destinations in Asia or in the rest of the world.
